Ketogenic diet for mental health and insulin resistance. Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Yoga, Breath work, Yoga
Bio
I hold a qualification of BSc (Honours) Physiotherapy of 17 years with a particular specialism in musculoskeletal injuries throughout my career. I have spent most of my career working within the military environment and then proceeded to work in the private sector, where I moved to a more holistic model. I retired from Physiotherapy in January 2025, to pursue my passion of the Ketogenic Diet and am I am the Founder and Director of Keto Brain Health - running conferences/ clinics and retreats. Plus I run classes locally on the ketogenic way of eating.
My background of Physiotherapy and being a current yoga teacher allow me to utilise these skills in my current holistic practice.
Due to multiple mental and physical traumas over the decades, I have trained in and used complimentary therapies on myself including Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), meditation, reiki and breathwork (Oxygen advantage with Patrick McKeown). I now use these in my practice from a holistic approach as and when I feel it would benefit a client and have had very good results.
I have also extensively researched the Ketogenic diet since 2010, which has had a profound impact on my mental health in a positive way and I have completed training in this area of nutrition/ diet.
